Target Audience Questionnaire Results
Within my questionnaire I had a group of around 30 people that helped me answer a questionnaire, I asked them 10 questions each, some of them being qualatative and also quantatitive data featuring from; 'what gender are you?', 'How often do you watch films?' and also 'Where do you watch films?'. I used a free domain website to obtain the pie charts with quality use of colours and the ability to use a free .jpg file for each and every pie chart that was created, known as Meta-Chart.
What gender are you?

What class are you?

Where do you watch films?
How Old are you?

How often do you watch films?
From the feedback I have recieved it is a necessity that i take positive feedback from the responses i was given, from this feedback i can give the people what they want and also improve on any ideas that i already have. Producing a Social Realism film is very difficult in that I will have to create a piece of work that goes to boundaries on the humane. To create shocking moments aswell as joyful moments to ensure all sides of a story are portrayed. For example, asking people what class they are enables me to narrow down some key elements and to that what i want to depict within my film and the mood that should be created.

I also recieved feedback from hand, it was fairly obvious to see that the people that filled in the form had only seen a few films of the social realism genre, either that or they do not know what a stereotypical social realism film entails. Films such as 'This Is England', and also 'Kez' was fairly popular seen by the majority.
It was also pointed out to me that the most reoccuring feature seen in the social realism genre was the fact that there was such a huge British culture portrayed within these films, and is what us 'Brits' would see in day to day life in England / UK. When c reating my film I will have to make sure that all signs of British culture is shown within the short film.
Finally the frequency of films being watched within a week period is fairly low at the vast majorityof people only watching 1-5 films per week, this is not suprising as the average film seen in the UK is an hour and a half long and is fairly time consuming. So I will also take that into consideration in that I will have to make my film stand out from any others and make the best possible short film of my power.
