Noel Clarke

Noel Clarke is a British actor born in Central London, he has performed in; Doctor Who, Casualty and also The Bill. However he has not only starred in just television, he has written and also starred in films seen all over the world. One of his most popular films to have shown his talent to the world is Kidulthood, which he wrote the script and starred in, playing Sam Peel. The film was released in 2006 with a £600,000 budget, unfortunately the film had a neiche target audience not allowing the film to be aimed at anyone but a specific age / gender, which was 14-22 year old boys. The film only gained £450,000 from the box office making a total loss of £150,000. However in 2008 Clarke came back and produced Adulthood where Sam, played by Noel was released from Prison after killing 'Trife' also known as Trevor. With the same budget they gained a huge market with branding and advertisment campaigns such as posters and also radio and television advertisments. The final box office revenue was over £3,500,000 way beyond their initial predicitions of £1,200,000. Noel has now starred in popular film saga's such as Star Trek and also Storage 24. Clarke has also prouced and directed films such as The Anomaly and Fast Girls, which has enabled him to take his film career further than he ever thought. In a interview with BBC television at the age of 25 where he was asked upon his career and quoted 'anything is possible' aiming at children that are under privelaged and living with single mothers in tough economic times.
